Our team's credits span formats and genres, from talent-driven food series to competition, travel and lifestyle shows, as well as docu-series. Cosmic Monkey was founded by a group of veteran media producers and executives with a focus on producing scalable production models with proven success, creating premium content at all budget levels.

COLIN GOHEEN

CEO / Creative Director

Colin got his start editing Adult Swim's Rick and Morty, before moving into producing, directing, and showrunning across TV and digital. As Executive Producer of Streaming TV at Jukin Media/TMB, he ran five global entertainment brands, leading a team of 30+ producers, writers, editors, and creatives, and built and launched the company's first slate of original long-form programming — including three 24/7 OTT channels. Over the course of his career he has produced, written, and directed more than 40 series and specials, as well as branded programming for Paramount, Sony, Disney, Hulu, SyFy, ABC Sports, CBS Sports, the Olympics, and Hershey's. Colin co-founded Cosmic Monkey with Ori, bringing multiple decades of network and streaming experience to a studio built around distinctive and original creative voices.

Ori Guendelman

ORI GUENDELMAN

Chief Creative Officer

Ori is a writer/director/producer who gained attention for his first screenplay, BUMP, which landed in the top ten on the annual Black List before being picked up by Working Title for Zach Braff to direct. He has since worked in development rooms at Mattel and was hired by LD Entertainment to adapt the Bloomberg article GOING ROGUE for Jamie Dornan to star and produce. Most recently, Ori wrote, directed and produced his horror short film HOLD UP, which premiered at the Fantasia Film Festival and won Best International Short Film at the Brussels Fantastic Film Festival and Best Short Film at Panic Fest. He has also produced a variety of streaming series for multiple networks as well as content that can be seen on platforms including Roku, YoutubeTV, Tastemade and Netflix.

Joe Harkenrider

JOE HARKENRIDER

Head of Development

Joe is an Emmy Award-winning media executive and Executive Producer who has held roles at both networks and production companies developing unscripted and scripted series. Prior to Cosmic Monkey, Joe created and showran unscripted series for Hearst Television's FAST channel, Very Local, and broadcast affiliates — earning two Emmy Awards and four nominations. Prior to Hearst, he was part of development teams at Comedy Central, Comedy Bang! Bang! Productions, Jukin Media, GRB Studios, and Viacom, contributing to the development of hits including Tosh.0 (Comedy Central), Bajillion Dollar Propertie$ (Seeso), Neighborhood Wars (A&E), and Blind Kitchen (Hearst). He has 5+ years of experience working with creators and was invited to be a founding expert of the creator advisor platform, Friends We Trust.
